NIR Skin Tightening

Near-Infrared skin tightening with Soprano Ice is an effective treatment for treating loose skin on many areas of the body. It’s commonly used for the face and neck. It works by passing a safe near-infrared light over the skin, gradually heating the water content deep in the tissue below the skin. This causes collagen fibres to contract and tighten, resulting in the smoothing out fine lines and tightening of sagging skin. Fibroblasts are also stimulated which promote new collagen formation. A lubricant is applied to the skin first and the constant, contact-cooling application of the NIR head, ensures that the outer skin stays cool and comfortable, while the lower dermis is heated to achieve optimum results.

Consultations are free
Facial tightening: £125 per session or £450 for 4 sessions
Other areas £125 – £250 dependent on size of area

What areas can be treated?

All areas, particularly the face and neck.

What is the treatment like?

A lubricant is applied and then the NIR hand piece is moved in a sweeping action over the area to be treated. During the whole procedure the temperature of the skin is closely monitored. During the treatment you will feel a warm sensation, but the outer skin is kept cool. The treatment has often been likened to as a hot stone massage.

How does my skin look after treatment?

Your skin may look a little flushed for a couple of hours, but this usually subsides very quickly. You can apply make-up immediately, and you would expect to resume normal activities straight away.

How many treatments will I need?

Generally, the best results are achieved after 4 treatments, with 2-4 weeks between visits. After a course of treatment, you may wish to have a top up treatment every 6 months to combat the natural ageing process.
